No. 19 Pickups is the other side of my business!
After repairing and servicing instruments for many years, I sparked an interest in hand-wound pickup designing and making…I wanted to make guitars feel AND sound great. Shortly after, No. 19 Pickups was born.
Each pickup is created in the heart of my workshop, hand-wound and traditionally made. I use only the finest of materials to produce high quality pickups, but without the hefty boutique price tag.
Something I was taught early on in my pickup-creating journey is that the higher the output, the lesser the clarity. This has become a staple in which No. 19 Pickups are based on, clarity is key!
To reduce the overall cost of the pickups, I don’t use big branded boxes. This not only helps to keep production fees lower, it’s also a lot more eco-friendly. I try to recycle wherever I can, I’m all about doing my bit for our little blue planet! 🌍
